Hannah's New Dresser

I got this dresser at a yard sale for $5.00 :) It was all black and UGLY!! But with a little paint (leftover from when we painted Hannah's baseboards), new knobs, and some wooden characters it looks brand new and beautiful!! For everything, including the dresser, I paid about $10.00!! What a good deal :) Hannah loves it too!!

19 Weeks 3 Days

Wow this pregnancy is flying by!! I have a doctor appointment on Friday at my doctors office and I think that is when they will be doing another ultrasound. Technically it would be my ultrasound to find out the sex but we already know :) I'm excited that Hannah will be with me so she can get another peek at her baby brother. She really likes going with me when I have ultrasounds, the look of amazement on her face just melts my heart. She is going to be a great big sister!! After my appointment I will post the pictures :)

I have about 19-20 weeks left until my c-section. Its crunch time with getting everything ready for baby Keith's arrival. Daddy is getting excited too, which I knew he would. He talks to my belly at night and says, "Hello son, this is your dad." Hannah kisses my belly when ever she gets the chance and she is really starting to understand her baby brother is in my belly. My family is growing fast :) I can't believe my sweet girl will be four in just 6 short months!! It's bittersweet!! In my heart she will ALWAYS be my sweet baby, no matter how old she is in life!!

Arts and Crafts with Hannah :)

Yesterday we did all sorts of fun arts and crafts :) Hannah made a pretty little ladybug, a tiger, a kitty cat, and a fish bowl. She was so proud of her work and so was mommy!! She also helped me decorate the house for fall/Halloween. I just love this time of year!! I think today we will pull out the Halloween decorations that she made last year to hang up around the house!! Our house finally feels like a home and with Hannah's homemade decorations, it really feels like OUR home :) Life is so sweet!!

Hannah's New Bathroom

I redecorated Miss Hannah's bathroom with lots of frog stuff :) I had the shower curtain and the boon frog toy holder from before. All of the other stuff I bought for less than $50 and now her bathroom is finally done :) We even re-caulked the bathtub!! She really likes it and that makes me happy. I'm sure her little brother will love frogs too so it works for a girl and boy bathroom :)

We finally agreed!! Thank the lord!!

Keith and I have been going back and forth about how we want to paint the nursery. I would like one thing and he would HATE it lol Then he picked out a color and I hated it. Finally after almost killing each other (okay, after I almost killed him) we finally agreed on this. We have a different crib set that we will be using that has monkeys but it has browns and blues that will match. I'm going to do the monogram on one wall and the other wall I will put up the wooden letters that spell out his name. I am going to paint the letters blue with brown polka-dots. My mom is going to make the curtains for his room for me. I just have to find the material for them. I think they have this exact material at Joann fabrics so in the next few weeks I will be picking some up :)

Level 2 Sonogram Pictures

Here are the pictures from my level 2 sonogram I had done today at the hospital. Little Keith weighs 6 ounces and is a very healthy baby boy that is growing right on time :) I have another sonogram in about 4 weeks at the hospital again just to make sure that he is growing on schedule because I carry the gene that causes cystic fibrosis. So far the doctors said there is nothing to worry about because daddy is not a carrier and baby Keith looks healthy...

It's a ........ BOY!!!

It's a BOY!!! We are so happy to be having a little boy join our family!! Hannah is really happy to be having a little brother :) I had a feeling it was a boy. We had all of the grandparents with us which was okay. Now I'm wishing we would have just invited Keith's dad and his step-mom Kim. Keith's mom, Sharron, and her husband went also but we could have done without them. They were pretty drunk when we picked them up (which is a pretty normal thing for them) and then the whole way home Keith's mom was ranting about how mad she was that it was a boy. She kept saying, "well don't expect me to buy anything for the baby, I have already done my boy shopping when I had my sons!" She wanted us to have a girl so that Keith's dads name would end with him (meaning last name). How freaking rude!!! Then she flipped when we told her we were naming him after Keith because she wanted us to use her middle name, Lee, in the name. Too bad!! She kept saying "Jr's are stupid" and many other rude things that I'm not going to put on here. Totally tried to ruin our special day and we are pretty much done with her and her husband. I was appalled at the things she was saying about my son and I don't need people like her in my life. I just feel bad for Keith for having to grow up with such a dirt-bag mom.

Well besides them, the whole family is very happy!! This is going to be the very first grandson on Keith's side of the family. He will make 4 living generations of Oliver's :) I cried when the lady told us "It's a boy" I was so happy. We got a video of the ultrasound as well and we all keep watching it. I still can't believe I'm going to have a son!! Keith and I catch a glimpse of each other to find that we both can't stop smiling. Mommy, daddy, and Hannah already started shopping for "little Keith". I picked out a cute little frog outfit, daddy picked out one with a dinosaur, and Hannah picked out one with a giraffe. Were all so excited and can't wait to finally meet him!!

We will find out if it's pink or blue this week :)

Keith and I will be going to a place in Brandon called Meet the Baby to get an ultrasound on Saturday. It's to find out if we are having a little boy or another sweet baby girl. I'm counting down the days until we go. Keith and I are soooo excited and cannot wait!! We invited the grandparents (Keith's mom and her husband, and Keith's dad and step-mom) to come and experience this happy moment with us. I really wish my sister and mom could be there also but they live all the way in Idaho, but they will be here when the baby is born which is much more important to me.

Daddy really wants a boy, Hannah really wants a sister, and I just want a healthy baby. I wonder who is going to get what they want. A part of me thinks that it is a little boy but I'm not betting any money on it. Especially since we have all girls in this family and so far no boys lol I will post the ultrasound pictures on here shortly after we get home :) Our appointment is at 2:30pm on Saturday. My next post will be pink or blue!!
